SKODA OCTAVIA (MK3) VRS TDI DSG 2016-66 (£12k OF OPTIONS)

I am reluctantly selling my much loved Octavia vRS estate. When I bought it in 2016 it was always a long term purchase but due to a change in circumstances with my company I need to cut costs and the Octavia is up for grabs. This is a rare car & I doubt there are many like it given the way people flip their cars every few years on PCP deals. Specifying a car as I do mine makes little sense these days as it just bumps up the monthly payment. I had wanted an Octavia for many years while driving around in our brilliant Fabia vRS. I finally bit the bullet when the offers were right on final run out of the Mk3 before they did the awkward twin headlight facelift. I added every option bar the automatic main beam system as I found it too delayed when testing. This is heavily spec'd and someone is going to get a great Octavia. Gutted I cannot keep her.

The Octavia is a November 2016 (66) 2.0 TDI DPF DSG (with paddles) in Meteor grey (start of options). It has a big spec as standard with usual DAB, USB/Bluetooth connectivity, Bi-Xenon headlights/washer system (turn with steering), LED DRL's & rear lights, lane assist, automatic lights, automatic wipers, electric windows all round, power steering, climate control with working aircon + much more. Beyond the extra cost paint I ordered the car from the factory with the following:

Full leather interior (With matching grey stitching not the red often seen).

Winter pack (Heated windscreen & washer jets).

Black design pack plus (19" Xtreme alloys (diamond cut with metallic grey inners not black), black roof rails, black door trims, black mirrors & tinted windows).

Electrically operated boot door (raises up and down by itself with soft close).

Park assist (gives full perimeter sensors and will parallel park by itself or park in regular spaces).

Rear view parking camera.

KESSY (Keyless entry system including starter button).

Crew protection assistant & rear side airbags (No brainer in family car).

Dynamic Chassis Control (Gives additional comfort mode so suspension is adaptable - worth every penny).

Panoramic sunroof (My favourite option).

Temporary space saver spare wheel & tool set.

Removable and lockable towbar + adaptor with single electrics (only ordered and used for cycle rack, vehicle has never towed). Keys for towbar are present along with adaptor for the electrics.

Variable boot floor.

Adaptive cruise control (Much better than regular system and includes front assist which will brake to avoid a collision).

Columbus sat nav (biggest screen & great system with hard drive/CD player in glove box).

Wireless phone charging box with Bluetooth & WiFi.

Cornering fog lights.

Electrically adjusted & heated wing mirrors with memory function & reverse dip. Mirrors also have illuminating puddle lights to light up the floor when unlocking.

Electrically adjustable front seats with memory function on drivers seat (links to keys with KESSY and adjusts when you unlock the car depending on who's key you use).

Heated front and rear seats (most only have front seats heated, heated rear seats very rare).

Canton sound system comprising of better speakers, tweeters in front doors, additional speaker in upper centre section of dash & a subwoofer in the boot.

The car is pretty much fully loaded and I have loads of paperwork including original invoice etc which came in just shy of £40k including £12k of options. I decided against the automatic main beam as it was slow to react on a car I tried with it but other than that I ordered the lot.

I am beyond picky about my cars and have parked it away from other cars in car parks. It has no parking dings. It has some stone chips but to be expected as its not brand new anymore. It has never had any accident damage or paintwork. Its factory original and I am happy for anyone to run a HPI check for peace of mind. I ordered direct from the factory so I am the only owner.

We are a pet and smoke free home so the car is in great condition inside too. Leather is immaculate with no signs of wear.

The car has never seen an automatic car wash or manned handwash. I have always washed it myself as I do not like acids etc that carwashes use. Its always been jet washed, snow foamed & rinsed before being washed with a lambs wool mitt. It has been treated with high end products from AutoGlym & ValetPro.

The TDI & DSG are the perfect combination for family and daily drive as its frugal yet powerful when needed. The DSG is a joy to drive as its so smooth and brilliant in traffic. This is a non SCR model so you don't have to fill a secondary tank with AdBlue as you do with many VAG cars. Its also Euro 6 compliant so can still go in and out of London.

If you are in the market for an Octavia and are prepared to spend a bit of money I doubt you'll find one better. If you come and view I am sure you'll see what I mean. There will be cheaper but they'll be PCP flips or lease cars that have been abused with no spec added.

The car has full service history but is due service in my opinion. Not that the system is asking for one though. It has pinged up as brake pads are coming up albeit lease companies would run it another 10k I am sure. There are also minor kerb marks on 2 wheels. I intend on sorting these items out in coming days as part of the price. If you wish to view and take the car in advance we can sort something out pricewise as I have earmarked funds to cover the cost.

The car has just had 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's fitted at just shy of £900! They have done a few hundred miles so as new. They are perfect for the car having found the factory fit Pirelli P Zero's a very poor match for the Octavia.

The car has 32k on the clock at present and while in use I doubt it will exceed 33k before it goes.

The car is available to view in South Northamptonshire and test drives will only be permitted with proof of fully comprehensive insurance to drive other vehicles. If you damage it you own it at price stated. If you do not have such insurance then I will happily drive you out in it.
