Formerly the personal car of Hexagon Classics Chairman, this unique vehicle has benefitted from numerous costly upgrades, making it the closest thing to an official BMW M3 CS Convertible. Possibly the best driving E46 M3 Convertible available, with some fantastic BMW driving upgrades that transform an already great car into something uniquely special.

No car combines fun and practicality and relative affordability with quite the same panache as the E46 M3. The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW’s in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. Changes included improved handling/suspension/braking systems, aerodynamic body enhancements, lightweight components, and interior/exterior accents with the tri-colour “M” (Motorsport) emblem.

This E46 M3 optionally came with a SMG Drivelogic transmission, (also known as the SMG II). This is the standard 6-speed Getrag transmission with an electro-hydraulically actuated clutch (no clutch pedal). Shifts are made via the SMG gear knob or the steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. The engine has a redline of 8,000 rpm. Evo magazine wrote, “That 3.2-litre 338bhp straight-six is wonderful, with an effortless reach, ever-ready vigour and a tight-lipped howl spangled with a zingy, metallic edge.”
