Mk1 Mitsubishi GTO TWIN TURBO Rust Free!

It is with much regret I’m having to put my beautiful GTO up for sale. I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis and although waiting for a Hip and Knee replacement I’m just finding it to painful to get in and out of the GTO, bugger!

This is the the third GTO/ 3000GT one I have owned and his one is by far the best!

I, after a lot of searching for a good one purchased her in October 2017. Since owning have she has had a complete Cam Belt full kit including a Gates Belt, not a cheap EBay one! Oil and Filter and Brake Fluid changed. Eibach lowering springs fitted leaving the Electronic Suspension all working correctly but now the wheels fit the arches! Front and rear Spoilers also both working correctly, in fact everything is working correctly! Leather interior in very good condition, underneath is Rust Free, undersealed/Waxed when first arrived on these shores in December 1992, invoice to prove. 18” BBS wheels with very good tyres, 2 almost new and I have the original wheels also but tyres are not good. AirCon is cold and the display screen works, most unusual! Glass Sun Roof with sun shade makes the interior very light and a nice place to be. I have had fitted a Stainless Exhaust, still 4 tail pipes at the rear so looks original but sounds a lot better but not to loud. Has a Momo Steering Wheel, again I have the original. She really is in exceptional condition and drives the same..... perfect!

Correct Oil Pressure hot and cold. Brakes pull up square and she sticks to the road like it’s on rails and pulls like a Train in all gears. She is always warmed up gently and warmed down as well, a Turbo Timer is fitted but it has never kicked in as not necessary as it’s cooled before switching off. She comes with all the Handbooks, Invoices, Two ignition Keys and two immobiliser Fobs.

All the upgrades I have done I have kept the original parts which will come with the car including Air Filter, Steering Wheel and Cruise Control lever ( because of the Momo Steering Wheel I have lost the Cruise control but it was all working before I swapped the Wheel) 4 original wheels (new Tyres recommended on these as they have cracked. There are a few other bits and bobs included as if she does sell I unfortunately can not see me making it 4 owned!

She was purchased when imported by a Family for their very depressed son who was 16 at the time and loved these cars so much the parents hoped it would help his illness. It seems it was regularly driven on their private roads and MOT’d each year. Unfortunately the son committed suicide before he got to drive her on public roads.....so, so sad.

She then she stayed at their property as they could not bring themselves to sell her, eventually they had too and I bought her from their local garage they had instructed to sell it for them. Before buying I had them put it up on their ramp and the underside was like new, all been undersealed/waxed when first imported and had not seen any salty roads........ever! and there is no sign of any rust!

I have carried out a lot of maintainence since owning her, I was a mechanic for 17 years and this is the third one I’ve owned, I know quite a bit about them!

She drives like a low mileage GTO should, no bangs, knocks, whines or warning lights.

The Pearlescent Black Bodywork is in very, very good condition.

The only “problemS” I can think off is the Electric Ariel is not retracting, motor is working so guess it’s the plastic drive that can be replaced if required and just noticed the Folding Mirrors have become temperamental, I’ll try and have a look at whats caused this, can’t be much!

I am near High Wycombe and happily Retired ( well I was until the latest medical diagnosis! ) so viewing is available at almost anytime.

As I’ve said, due to my illness, and not knowing when I’ll have my Operation I’ve decided to sell as I really need a “higher” car. It’s not pretty hearing me scream as I get in!!!!! Or out!!!!!!!
