2005 Lexus

This car is a factory-approved conversion carried out by Toms Racing in Japan before coming to the UK. For more detailed information on Toms Racing and the quality of the conversion, see the Toms Racing Japan website, car line-up, Lexus IS / IS-C, GSE2.

To my knowledge, this is the only Toms IS350 conversion currently in the UK sharing many parts with the Lexus IS250 obtainable through Lexus and Toyota dealers.

3.5 V6 Supercharged (Hyper Compressor kit V6, Intercooler, Delimited ECU, Toms Barrel exhaust, Toms body kit).

New Primary cats (straight-piped both Secondary cats, incl new lambda sensors) leading to a single muffler and into the original Toms Racing exhaust

JUN Racing exhaust manifolds

Preventatively I've replaced the following with genuine DENSO parts when a secondary exhaust lambda sensor failed:

New Air flow meter

Crankshaft sensor

Camshaft sensor

Exhaust lambda sensors (banks 1 & 2)

The original Japanese centre console (radio, aircon etc functions) has been replaced with a UK IS250 item mainly for the radio channels but the satnav function isn't connected due to using a newer external satnav.

Note:

The original Toms front lip was replaced with a quality aftermarket PU item after I shamefully cracked it.

Very minor damage in the console surround area due to the fiddly nature of fitting the replacement console - see pic.

Purchased with minor dent on the roof next to the shark fin aerial.

This car is not new, so please be realistic - it is what it is. Despite the above, the car is very clean inside and out with no rust underneath.

It is brutally fast, handles exceptionally well, comfortable and very understated.

Mainly Optimax or Momentum 99 fuels are used, however when not available, the car runs without any issues on 95 octane.
