2007 BMW 335D M SPORT - **DEPOSIT TAKEN**

Up for sale is this beautiful 3 owner unmolested 2007 BMW 335D M Sport in stunning metallic Sapphire Black with black Dakota leather seats. It has covered 93,000 miles however it is still used occasionally so this may rise slightly. The car belongs to a member of my family, however owing to work commitments I have offered to sell it on his behalf.

The car has been owned for the last 4 years and used mainly as a weekend car or for trips further afield and has been thoroughly enjoyed and cared for by the current owner. There are a lot of 335’s for sale but most have been thrashed or modified, this is a completely standard example which has been serviced with a comprehensive history, complete with tool kit, triangle, first aid kit AND torch!

I have all the book packs and history including a mountain of invoices and paperwork relating to the care of the car over the years along with 2 keys.

The car was registered in May 2007 it was serviced by BMW at 21,118 in March 2009, 40,154 in October 2011 and 42,479 in April 2012. The car was serviced by the supplying dealer to my uncle, Influence Cars of Leatherhead at 54,497 in February 2014.

Following purchase the car was looked after by a local BMW specialist and saw servicing annually at the following intervals; 62,941 in January 2015, 74,774 in March 2016, 82,667 in March 2017 and most recently 88,477 February 2018.

As you can see over the last 12 months its use has declined quite heavily, largely due to several other vehicles being available for use and this is the main reason for sale; it has almost become surplus to requirements.

In March 2018 the car showed an ABS fault and this was investigated and found to be a faulty ABS pump, consequently this was stripped and rebuilt. The car also seemed down on power and whilst in for the ABS pump it was established the main water thermostat and EGR thermostat were faulty meaning the engine wasn’t reaching the required temperature to regen the DPF filter. As a result the car has had new thermostats and a full DPF regen (invoice available).

Around the sametime the car also had a full 4 wheel alignment during which it was noted the front tyres required replacement so two new Bridgestone tyres were fitted, the car has Bridgestone tyres fitted allround with good levels of tread.

In August 2018 the car also had a new genuine BMW turbo expansion tank owing to the original one showing signs of perishing, to avoid complete failure a new one was fitted (invoice available).

The car has MOT until March 2019 and I have the previous MOT’s dating back until 2015, the car will come with the displayed registration number.

As with any used car there are a couple of negative points but these are minimal –

*There is a mark on the front bumper where I understand someone kindly reversed into the front of the car when it was parked, most probably this can be rectified with a SMART repair.

* The alloy wheels are in need of a refurbishment, the design means they are extremely susceptible to kerbing and felt the new owner may wish to have them done in a colour of their choosing.

*There are some minor paint chips/marks around the car but these are conducive with a car which is 11 years old and they are not so significant that you can even notice them in the photos.

*There is slight wear to the drivers seat bolster but again for the age this is to be expected, along with some of the rubber coated ‘touch’ surfaces in the car are showing signs of wear.

The car is a lovely example and it has only had 3 owners and remains completely OEM, a dream to drive with so much power and torque and the option to change gear using the paddles on the steering wheel.

The price is £6900.00 and there isn’t a huge amount of negotiation on this, due to the spec, colour and OEM nature of the car. Of course it is a used car but I have been honest in my description and you wont find yourself turning up to discover an inaccurately described car, this is a genuine sale please no timewasters and p/ex is not required. Test drives will be undertaken by me however long or short due to the inherent risks of allowing prospective buyers to drive it.
