Very original 325i Sport (per Logbook) from the last year of manufacture of the 2 Door Saloon/Coupe. This car was first registered in November 1991

Quite rare combination of Sterling Silver with full black leather interior and original black headlining

MOT until July 2019

If you’ve never owned one of these then you’ll find the combination of lightness, a very strong engine and slow but accurate steering a complete delight on good roads.

A friend and I have jointly owned this car since December 2014. It has been stored for the majority of the time since then in a heated garage. It has only been brought out during our ownership in late spring/summer months for day trips and car shows. It has been driven respectfully and we’ve done only 4K miles.

The car is very sound for its age – some small rust spots aside all major panels are in generally good condition and it has been undersealed where required to protect it for the future. There are a few minor scratches, dings and a little lacquer peel – to be expected on a car of this age. Appears to have spent all of its life prior to our ownership in south of England so natural corrosion kept to a minimum.

Some minor modifications have been carried out by previous owners including:

- Smoked front indicators

- K&N Air Filter

- BMW M ‘bling’ gearknob

- Non-standard exhaust back box

- Clarion CD/Radio/USB head unit

All of the above is easily reversible. The car sits on slightly lowered suspension, fitted 2015. This could also be simply returned to original as desired.

The friend I own this with is an experienced Vehicle Technician and the following has been carried out in our ownership:

2014: New oil, oil filter, clean out and refresh of handbrake mechanism at brake, new wipers.

2015: Original BBS Alloy Wheels fully refurbished, new front brake pads, front track control arm, full new suspension springs and shocks, new front track tie rod end, new front suspension top mount, new front wishbone and rear anti roll bar bushes.

2016: Replace cracked front Bosch headlamp, source OEM Spare Wheel with Pirelli tyre, new Clutch Slave Cylinder

2017: New rear inner lamp holder

2018: New oil, filter, new rear axle bushes, new coolant temperature sensor

New exhaust manifold heat shields required at some point in the future, these are not an expensive part.

All warning lamps fully functioning as do electric windows, and sunroof (roof with a bit of assistance). Both original keys present and a lot of invoices from previous owners presented neatly in a folder for inspection.

*Mileage on the clock is 131K. However, it appears a previous owner between 2006 and 2010 wound the clock back around 10K miles. The car looks like it has been stored 2006 – 2010 as there is no MOT present during that time. I would estimate the true mileage to be around 145K. Any buyer should be aware of this. That said, mileage at that level should not be a concern for a car of this original build quality and heritage.

For a car of 27 years old and rapidly increasing in value (just look at the price of the only other Sterling Silver/Black Leather currently on the UK market) this represents a great opportunity for a new owner to run as is, or carry out some further light restoration to bring to excellent condition.
