1972 Triumph

Original 1972 UK RHD 'Matching Numbers' Triumph TR6 150bhp - Chassis No: CP75796 Engine No: CP75774HE with a Full Service History from new in excellent restored condition.

This beautiful TR6 was supplied new by British Leyland dealer Dolphin Square Garage on 25th March 1972 and is finished in its original colour scheme of Sapphire Blue with Black trim and carpets, new Black Mohair Soft top, its original 2498cc Straight Six Fuel injected Engine, 4 Speed Manual Gearbox with Overdrive on 2nd, 3rd & 4th gears, Stainless Steel Sports Exhaust System, Bosch Fuel Pump, and sitting on a set of lovely 'Cosmic' Alloy Wheels with new Avon Tyres.

The car has only had 4 former keepers from new and it was originally rebuilt with new body panels in 1988. The 4th Owner purchased the car in 2009 and he completely restored the car between 2009/11 and the works included a huge number of new parts, a bare metal repaint, complete Engine and Gearbox rebuild, new Braking system, suspension components and all trim, glass and rubber seals. It is actually so good underneath that we feel the body was taken off the chassis.

The car was purchased by the current owner in April 2012 and he has also added a number of new parts including a new Mohair Roof, Polybushed Suspension, new GRP under wing protectors, Sump Guard and the new Cosmic Alloy wheels and Tyres. Since the original rebuild the car completed in 2011 it has only covered 3,680 miles.

The car comes with a full & comprehensive service history from new and invoices dating back to 1976 including all of the restoration bills from 1988, the restoration in 2009/11 and invoices for works and parts from the current owner. It also comes with its original Triumph Passport to Service Book (rare), Workshop Manual and a selection of MOT Certificates from 1978 to 2017.

The quality of this car is superb and the underside and Chassis are in excellent condition, there are a few small blemishes in the paintwork as you might expect after 7 years, but nothing untoward and the car is fantastic to drive.

Upon sale it will be given a new MOT (although now exempt), pre-sales Service and it will come with our own 6 Month extendable Mechanical Warranty.
