Are you considering ownership of a stunning TVR Cerbera ? If you are, do be sure to take a serious look at this very handsome example ! OOPS ! THIS BEAUTY HAS BEEN SOLD !!

This is a Supercar with 4 seats – so an eminently sensible, fully justifiable purchase! If “She who must be obeyed” understands you, she‘ll let you buy it !! Plus, this one is in “Grown Up” colours – BMW Tahiti Blue exterior with Oxford Blue and Portland Grey interior. And note the date of first registration – 16 Apr 2003. Many sources claim this was the LAST year of Cerbera production, but there were a few in the next couple of years. However, there were probably no more than 25 Cerberas built after this example. And back in 2009, when this car was available to buy from Racing Green TVR, their advertisement suggested that YJ03 GTF was possibly the last 4.2 Cerbera built by TVR. Furthermore, by 2003, TVR were on top of chassis durability, and the electronics were much improved. Plus of course , this car has the final, desirable styling features..... YJ03 GTF's interior is in nicely preserved condition, having been carefully looked after by each of only 5 owners, And yes, the car is equipped with Air Conditioning!.

So what would you want from your Cerbera ? A 4.5 Litre engine rather than a 4.2 Litre ? Not a lot of people know this, but TVR ran out of 4.2 Litre engine blocks and the last 50 or so 4.2s were actually built with 4.5 litre blocks and 4.2 Induction systems. YJ03GTF is such a Cerbera. There is a slight difference in power and performance capability, but it is not that dramatic in the real world. The 4.5 L engine develops 420 bhp and 380 lb ft of torque, whereas the 4.2 L engine produces 360 bhp and 320 lb ft of torque. But the performance statistics are very close. Max speeds are 185 mph (4.5L) and 180 mph (4.2L) respectively, while the 0-60mph figures are 4.1 secs (4.5 L) and 4.2 secs (4.2 L).

YJ03GTF was originally supplied by Harrogate Horseless Carriages (now Drivestyle) who serviced the car for its first 2 owners for the first near 25,000 miles of its life (6 services in all). TVR Power then rebuilt the engine (a little over15,000 miles ago) and Scole Engineering renewed the Clutch (just over 13,000 miles ago). Subsequent servicing was carried out by Racing Green TVR, which company looked after the car for its last 2 owners from 2008 onwards. Ultimately they bought the car in 2015 and they kept it in dry storage thereafter. The company now majors on the sale of TVR parts, rather than cars, and Str8six agreed to buy this Cerbera when it was offered to us in May this year.

We have addressed the car’s paintwork (which is now up to Str8six standard !) and we have of course also worked through the car technically from nose to tail, from top to bottom, and underneath as well !

Str8six will supply this very capable car with a FULL 12K service completed, 12 months MOT, 12 months Tax and a Full, “No Quibble” 12 months / 12,000 miles Wear and Tear Warranty, which covers Parts and Labour. The car will be equipped with a 12 volt battery charger and a set of Anderson Leads.
