This very desirable and quickly appreciating classic Lotus was fully rebuilt in 1992 by Paul Matty for Bob Diggins who was the chairman of the Lotus Drivers Club - The rebuild included a new Lotus chassis, full engine rebuild, new suspension and Interior. At the time of the rebuild the car was described as being possibly the best Plus 2 Available. The car also featured on the Lotus stand at the NEC. It is still in excellent condition and benefits from having had a full respray 4 years ago. Since then it has only covered 600 miles.
