SOLD 2004 - REBORN T350C “THE FULL PHOENIX” –

A Truly Exceptional T350C - which was effectively “Reborn” for its last owner - ready to start a new Life - at 33,250 miles on 23 May 2016 !
Prior to that, by end 2015, FC04GJE – once TMS TVR’s Renowned Flagship T350 C demonstrator – had turned into a somewhat average car. It was definitely not up to the usual “Shipshape and Bristol Fashion” standards which would allow it to be re-launched, after a couple of months of preparation, absolutely “watertight” and fit to wear Str8six number plates !!
The car’s mileage was verifiable from MOT records but its service documents had largely been “lost overboard”. Furthermore, despite assiduous trawling, some records had sunk irretrievably below the surface….. Previous owners were traced and they had clearly looked after the car - but without meticulous resort to franchised TVR dealers.
10 or more years ago this might not have been so important, but not in 2016 at a time when TVRs were increasing in value. The car itself was certainly recoverable to full Str8six specification….. but we had to make a choice: prepare and sell the car “as presented” – or bite the bullet and assign this T350C to a no compromise, “Full Phoenix” resurrection.
There was only one viable way to reinstate the full, thoroughbred pedigree of FC04 GJE again. We decided to strip this TVR right down to its individual component parts and then to mechanically restore the car – from the ground up!! Our aim was to create a TVR that was effectively as close to a brand new T350C as was possible –such that its service history could effectively and realistically restart on the day it was supplied to its next owner – albeit with a genuine 33,252 miles on the clock.
A list of the work carried out during this very extensive programme is attached below.
This particular car is every bit as handsome as the pictures suggest, and the photographs are right up to date. Just to confirm, the car’s exterior was totally prepared and then re-sprayed in “Le Mans Blue” by Surface & Design in Blackpool in 2016. The interior is trimmed in complimentary colours and did not need restoration. The seats are in Andrew Muirhead “Russian Blue” smooth and perforated leather with Portland grey features. Dark Grey stitching has been used throughout. The seatbacks are painted in “Le Mans Blue” Pearl. The dashboard has Russian Blue upper and Portland Grey lower sections. The doors are re-trimmed with Str8six’s trademark “straked” centre panels and with our upgraded lower panels, which house improved door speakers. The carpets have been re-manufactured in top quality Navy Blue 80/20% Wool/Nylon from Coverdale’s Kensington range. The Roof Rollbars are in Blue with the headlining in Blue Alcantara.
In 2016, FC04GJE was fitted with brand new Toyo Proxes T1 Sport tyres mounted on 18” shadow chrome alloys . Raise the bonnet, and you can feast your eyes on an extremely well presented, Str8six-rebuilt, Speed Six 3.6 litre engine. This has had all brackets, mounts and external features prepared so their finish will remain presentable for a very long period. With the bonnet open, it is also possible to see the very high quality of the chassis restoration work (carried out by Str8six North in Newark). Inspection will also confirm that all reservoirs and tanks are protected by powder coating and that silicone hoses have been used wherever possible. The OE upgrades include Factory Air Conditioning.
The whole car inside and outside is in exemplary, unmarked condition and it drives beautifully - as you would expect – having been serviced by Str8six in preparation for the start of a new life in a new owner’s hands. It was bought as a collector’s car and joined a collection of 5 other TVRs. Since he purchased the car in May 2016, the 5th owner has driven the car just 593 miles. Indeed, the engine has yet to receive its 1,000 mile post-running in service !
Despite the low mileage covered, but given its 2 years in covered Carcoon storage, The car will of course be given the full Str8six preparation procedure. It will be supplied with Str8six's renowned "All the 12s" handover specification - i.e. Full 12,000 miles service completed before delivery, 12 mths MOT and 12 mths/12,000 miles Full Wear and Tear warranty covering parts and labour, plus an inbuilt 12 volt trickle charger and a 12 volt auxiliary jumpstart cable.
Service Records!
These will include a new PDI - to be followed by a 1K Service (Free of Charge) when the fully rebuilt engine has covered 1,000 miles. Thereafter, service intervals will run in accordance with the usual TVR schedule – i.e. every 6,000 miles or annually.

Full body off chassis and mechanical restoration.
Strip chassis of all components, shot blast and repair ends of lower main chassis rails
and replace o/s outrigger all due to corrosion. Zinc prime and powdercoat chassis.
Shotblast all suspension components and replace where necessary. Re-bush all
suspension components using original TVR metalastic bushes & thrust washer
modification.
