Thrilled to offer this truly stunning ’66 Mustang which is presented perfectly in a period livery of base Wimbledon white with blue race stripes, smart and effective modifications included throughout and subject to a complete professional rebuild in 2013.

After an 18-month design process by Gale Halderman, the first-generation Mustang was introduced to the market in 1964 and production continued to June 1973 with production numbers in excess of 2,500,000. During these years the car changed with various upgrades visually and mechanically. Ford also offered the car with different options of engine sizes, transmissions, differentials and a convertible base. One of the first ‘American Muscle’ greats, this shape car fell into the hands of many passionate owners who modified, raced, cherished and appreciated them, many still to this day.

As these vehicles go, this car is in remarkable condition throughout. Its underwent a £30,000 rotisserie restoration throughout 2013 which included new floors, front wings, retro fitted 1968 rear quarters, a fully refreshed 302 cubid inch engine with Pertronics electronic ignition, EdelBrock 600 carburettor, stainless manifolds and exhaust system, alloys rocker covers and polished air filter with breather, power discs brake conversion, new shocks on all 4 corners with lowering springs, Hauser racing TruTrac differential, 4 speed manual t10 gearbox with Hurst shifter, new prop and drive shafts, fresh black with white interior (Pony seats, new carpet and over mats, new dash board, door cards, headlining), new chrome bumpers, American Racing Torque Thrust staggered wheels with new BF Goodrich appropriate size tyres and rally pack front lights. All this previous work was carried out professionally by The Mustang Workshop in Hook, Hampshire.

Can be driving confidently at speed with such a good chassis matched to a prepared differential, crisp V8 and good breaks. Rewarding on any drive and is set to put a smile on anyone’s face. With such an aggressive and period American muscle stance it is guaranteed to get attention and is a real head turner.

The car shows 1 previous owner since coming to the UK on the 13th June 2013. It shows 91,013 miles. The car will be supplied with a fresh UK MOT, serviced, with supporting history and spare keys.
