Description
Reluctantly selling my 2004 147 GTA due to lack of use (have a company car).
79k miles, Rosso Red paint with black leather interior, original 17" Teledial alloys repainted in anthracite.
Two keys
MOT expires 01/08/2019
330mm Brembo brakes, Autodelta LSD (an important upgrade for these cars, most owners have a Q2/Quaife diff but this is Autodelta's in-house differential which is essentially the same).
Upgraded stereo with iPod connection in glovebox.
Bose speakers & factory subwoofer
Heated front seats/PAS/Climate control/Cruise control/Traction control/ABS
Autodelta-fitted 147 GTA AM front bumper (resembles an Alfa GT).
The car also has been treated to the following modifications, which are fairly standard in the 147/156 GTA world:
KW V1 shock absorbers & springs, lowered 30mm
Ragazzon quad-exit exhaust with Ragazzon centre pipe (cat still in place)
Performance Friction brake pads
K&N drop-in air filter
Autodelta carbon-fibre intake pipe
Autolusso silicone top intake elbow
Powerflexed rear suspension and front anti-roll bar
Mechanically-speaking there is nothing to do on the car; it has been well-maintained over the years. There are no electrical problems and no engine management light showing. I have a large ring-binder full of receipts from the last few years, including the original owner's order form for the vehicle in 2004.
The car has a large wad of paperwork and full service history. Laurence at Autolusso Bournemouth has looked after the car religiously for the last 4 years and is happy to discuss the car with a potential buyer. All the major work which a 147 GTA needs doing has been done in the last 2-3 years, and a major engine overhaul was carried out in August, including:
Complete top-end engine rebuild including cambelt, tensioners, water pump & headgaskets
Oil change & filter cleaned, service carried out
Aircon regassed (no leaks)
New radiator
New battery
4-wheel alignment & tracking
Minor welding done to seatbelt mounting point on floor; this is the only welding the car has ever needed.
In addition, the car has had the following notable maintenance items:
New clutch fitted 2017
New exhaust flexis fitted March 2017
New NGK spark plugs & rear engine mount fitted 2016
Undersealed in 2015
New alternator fitted November 2014
Notable points:
The wheels could do with a refurb as they are marked in several places.
The lacquer is also delaminating from the paintwork over the rear offside arch. Rosso Red fades somewhat in the sun; the car could benefit from a decent paintwork tidy-up really, and had I kept the car I would have carried this out.
These points have been factored into the price.
Private plate will NOT come with the car and will be retained before sale.
